Tusk Strategies LLC is seeking an Associate on the Paid Media team in New York City to design and execute paid media programs that support client goals across digital, social, CTV/streaming, and traditional channels.

The role requires understanding why channels and audiences fit client goals, with responsibilities spanning strategy, budgeting, launch, optimization, and reporting. Expect collaboration across campaigns and strong writing skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on paid media or digital advertising experience.
• Excellent writing and messaging instincts.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute paid media programs from strategy to reporting.
• Recommend media channel mix based on goals, audiences, and budget.
• Build media plans and budgets; help develop creative concepts.
• Launch campaigns in Meta, Google, and programmatic platforms and manage vendor relationships.
• Monitor pacing and performance; produce client-ready recaps and optimization guidance.
• Plan grassroots digital advocacy campaigns and draft supporting content.
• Develop strategy decks, workback plans, and client collateral.
• Organize client folders and agendas for well-run engagements.
• Research issues to inform on political risks and opportunities.
• Assist with new business proposals.
