Job summary

West Virginia Society of CPAs seeks an experienced accountant who enjoys public accounting and wants to take ownership of client work. This role offers direct interaction with clients and a variety of engagements, from tax preparation to financial statement work.

You will work on tax and accounting engagements for individuals, small businesses, closely held companies, and other organizations in the region, with opportunities to grow within a local CPA firm.

This position offers the chance to work directly with clients, handle a variety of tax and accounting engagements, and take greater ownership of projects from beginning to completion.

Our firm works with individuals, small businesses, closely held companies, and other organizations throughout the region. The position can include a combination of tax preparation, financial statement work, audits, reviews, compilations, and general accounting depending on your experience and interests.

Compensation will be competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and the level of responsibility the candidate is able to assume.
