Job summary

Step Up Rehab is in-house therapy provider at Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation & Healing and TimberRidge Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Ocala, FL. The PTA will provide skilled services to SNF residents, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance safety, function, and quality of life.

Licensed PTAs in Florida (or eligible) with SNF/post-acute experience are preferred. The role is PRN with enhanced rates when medical benefits are waived, offering a supportive environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health documentation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function and quality of life.
• Work in dedicated therapy gyms within SNFs to help residents regain function and independence.
