Job summary

Step Up Rehab is the in-house therapy provider at Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation & Healing and TimberRidge Center in Ocala, FL. The PTA will provide skilled therapy services to SNF residents, improving safety and independence, in dedicated therapy gyms.

This PRN role emphasizes high-quality care, competitive pay when benefits are waived, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support residents' functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
• Work inside the dedicated therapy gyms within skilled nursing facilities to help residents regain function and independence through skilled, compassionate care.

Education
