Job summary

Step Up Rehab Lakeland is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled PTA services in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ safety, function and quality of life in dedicated therapy gyms.

The position requires a Florida PTA license (or eligibility) and prefers SNF or post-acute experience. We offer supportive leadership, modern rehab facilities, and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
• Work inside therapy gyms within skilled nursing facilities to help residents regain function and independence through skilled, compassionate care.

Education

Accredited PTA program

Florida PTA license (or license-eligible)

SNF/post-acute experience preferred
