Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role in Florida’s skilled nursing facilities. The position supports residents across dedicated therapy gyms at The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods, Palmer Ranch Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Hawthorne Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sarasota.

Licensed FL PTAs (or license-eligible) provide skilled services and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize safety and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
