Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy services in SNFs including The Springs at Lake Pointe Woods, Palmer Ranch Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Hawthorne Health and Rehabilitation Center – Sarasota.

The PRN position offers flexibility with realistic caseloads, modern rehab gyms, and supportive leadership, requiring graduation from an accredited PTA program and an active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health documentation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
