Job summary

Step Up Rehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled services in partner SNFs in Sarasota, FL. The role is PRN with enhanced rates when medical benefits are waived; in-house therapy teams support residents through focused rehab within dedicated therapy gyms.

Responsibilities include delivering PTA-led therapy, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and guiding residents toward improved safety, function, and independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible) required.
• SNF or post-acute experience preferred.
• Net Health documentation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA-related therapy services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to improve safety, function, and quality of life.
• Assist residents in regaining and maintaining functional independence through targeted rehabilitation plans.
