Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Cincinnati rehabilitation team. You will deliver skilled therapy to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization, helping them regain mobility and independence.

This full-time role emphasizes hands-on care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered treatment in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing, geriatric, or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent organization and documentation skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional performance.
• Support gait training, transfer training, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with supervising therapists.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and family members.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and home exercise recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge preparation.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and rehabilitation culture.
