Concept Rehab is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Cincinnati, OH. You will work with patients recovering from surgery, illness, injury, and hospitalization to rebuild strength, mobility, and functional independence.

This role emphasizes hands-on patient care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered rehab for older adults in skilled nursing and post-acute settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing.
• Geriatric/post-acute rehab experience preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional performance.
• Support gait training, transfer training, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and home exercise recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge preparation.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
