Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Garland, TX is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN to support the licensed Physical Therapist in providing rehab services in long-term care or related settings.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, assist with mobility and gait training, ensure accurate documentation, collaborate with the care team, and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure. Travel to patient locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Clinical experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Assist with use of assistive devices and educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely per guidelines.
