Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree and PTA licensure.
• Licensed PTA with IDFPR certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Complete required continuing education for acute stroke care.
• Pass board exam on next available date.
• DNV Hip and Knee Certification training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documentation.
• Produces documentation in accordance with CTSCP67 policy.
• Complete annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Program requirements.
