Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement the plan of care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The position offers a sign-on bonus and requires completion of board exams and ongoing CEUs for program requirements. Strong communication with patients, families, and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's degree in PTA or equivalent.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, and other care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Follows and adjusts the plan of care in collaboration with the evaluating therapist and documents communications.
• Produces documentation per CTSCP67 and participates in continuing education related to total joint replacement programs.
