Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required.
  • Current PT or PTA license or eligible for licensure in the state.
  • 5+ years post-licensure experience, with 3+ years in teaching.
  • 2+ years in administration/management.
  • 2+ years in educational theory and instructional design, student evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PTA program curriculum reflecting the profession's dynamics.
  • Plan strategically for program changes in healthcare needs.
  • Prepare and monitor the programmatic budget.
  • Ensure safe, conducive classroom learning environments.
  • Mentor PTA faculty and plan course schedules.
  • Teach in PTA program and support academic operations.
  • Maintain accreditation standards and communications with CAPTE.
