Pima Medical Institute in San Marcos, CA is seeking a dynamic PTA Program Director to lead our CAPTE-accredited Associate Degree program. This executive academic leadership role directs instructional staff, manages clinical and didactic education, oversees budgets, and ensures accreditation compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PT or PTA program.
• Active PT or PTA license in California or US jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience.
• Nine academic semester credits (or equivalent) in educational foundations.
• Proven teaching, instructional design, and student outcomes assessment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead PTA program and supervise faculty and staff.
• Oversee curriculum development and budget aligned with CAPTE.
• Direct accreditation activities and annual CAPTE reports.
• Manage clinical education plans and site evaluations.
• Teach as a core instructor in the PTA program when needed.
• Support student retention and outcomes metrics.
