Job summary

PCI Health Training Center in Richardson, TX, seeks a Program Director for the PTA program to provide comprehensive academic and administrative leadership. You will ensure curriculum quality, supervise faculty, coordinate clinical education, and maintain compliance with ACCSC, CAPTE, and licensure requirements.

The role leads program evaluation, outcomes tracking, and accreditation activity, with benefits and a pathway from part-time to full-time as the program scales up.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred; credentials must align with PTA program.
• Current, valid PT/PTA license in the states where the program operates; continuing education maintained.
• Minimum five (5) years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience; teaching/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the PTA program.
• Develop, review, and revise curriculum to ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Recruit, supervise, schedule, and evaluate program faculty.
• Coordinate with ACCE/Director of Clinical Education and clinical sites to ensure quality experiences.
• Support faculty professional development and ensure licensure continuity.
• Monitor student progress and program outcomes including NPTE-PTA pass rates.
• Establish and convene a Program Advisory Committee for program improvement.
• Oversee accreditation activities and reporting; support budgeting and resource planning.
• Enforce policies and maintain a professional, student-centered environment.
