Job summary

Patewood Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This PRN role helps residents regain mobility, strength, and independence with focused sessions and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an SC PTA license, has completed an accredited PTA program, and offers strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiar with Casamba and PointClickCare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Follow physician treatment plans and established care goals.
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes per regulatory requirements.
• Communicate resident progress, concerns, and treatment plans with the care team.
• Participate in care planning and rehabilitation conferences.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Train restorative aides and support nursing staff as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies.
