Job summary

Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a licensed Physical Therapist. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to gain experience in a busy skilled nursing rehab setting.

You will provide direct patient care, assist with mobility and strengthening exercises, and help maintain documentation while collaborating with the rehab team to support resident independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to established treatment plans.
• Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support interdisciplinary care team collaboration.
