Greenville Post Acute in Greenville, SC, is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN coverage. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care that improves residents' mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in South Carolina (required).
• Maintain continuing education and stay in good standing with the State Board.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassion for an underserved population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Carry out treatment plans prescribed by the physician and therapist
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes
• Assist with rehab and patient care conferences
• Monitor and report patient progress and changes
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and post-discharge care
• Assist with training of Restorative Aides
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Report equipment concerns and ensure proper maintenance
