Job summary

Simpsonville Post Acute, located in Simpsonville, SC, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist.

This PRN role supports skilled nursing care with opportunities to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet care goals and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active SC PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Follow physician treatment plans and care goals
• Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes accurately
• Assist with rehabilitation and care planning meetings
• Communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education
• Maintain clean, safe therapy areas and equipment
• Support training of restorative aides and nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state practice act and facility policies
