Job summary

Trellis Centennial in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant PRN to support the Staff Physical Therapist in resident care and mobility goals. You will participate in documentation, treatment delivery, and team collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program and state licensure or eligibility, with proficiency in Net Health and Point Click Care. CPR may be required by licensure and policy.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed or eligible to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Net Health and Point Click Care.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per facility, governmental, and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervising PT to update physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Recommend and facilitate ordering of necessary durable medical equipment to promote independence.
• Contribute to quality assurance and rehabilitation program development.
