Job summary

Trellis Paradise seeks a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the PT in delivering patient-centered care in a Las Vegas facility. You will engage in direct patient care, maintain treatment notes, and collaborate with the health team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requires current PTA licensure in the state and proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Casamba and Point Click Care. Ability to read procedures and participate in family/caregiver training is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plans.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
