Job summary

PACS Group’s Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver skilled therapy to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nursing and the interdisciplinary team. PRN scheduling offers flexibility with potential full-time opportunities within a large therapy

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• SC PTA license in good standing (required/current).
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement treatment plans based on physician orders and goals.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document sessions and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Support discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to achieve positive outcomes.
