Powdersville Post Acute is a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Easley, SC, seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled therapy to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled therapy services designed to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred


• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred


• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

Licenses & Certifications

• Current South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing


• Must maintain all required continuing education requirements


• Must remain in good standing with the State Board
