Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute in Easley, SC, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy aimed at improving mobility, strength, function, and independence for residents.

The ideal candidate is a PTA graduate with experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation and familiarity with PCC or Casamba; strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes.
