Job summary

Powdersville Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Easley, SC. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled therapy services designed to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

We offer flexible PRN scheduling and competitive pay of $35-$45 per hour, with potential full-time opportunities within South Carolina's largest therapy network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and therapy goals.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatment sessions, resident responses, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence.
