Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Northtowns in Tonawanda, NY. Contribute to residents' recovery in a skilled nursing setting, helping them practice everyday movements and build physical abilities through treatment directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

What You'll Do

• Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions based on each resident's established goals.
• Guide exercises and functional activities that address strength, balance, and endurance.
• Work with residents on walking, transfers, and bed mobility using the appropriate assistance and equipment.
• Reinforce safe mobility techniques while following individual precautions.
• Report changes in comfort, function, and treatment tolerance to the supervising PT.
• Document sessions accurately and communicate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to support consistent care.
