Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. You will implement prescribed PT plans, guide mobility exercises, and assist with transfers and walking using appropriate equipment.

Autumn Lake at Ocean View | Ocean View, NJ
$40–$45/hour | PRN

Support recovery one treatment session at a time. Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Ocean View to help skilled nursing residents strengthen their mobility skills under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out individualized interventions prescribed in residents' physical therapy plans.

• Guide exercises that build strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.

• Practice walking, transfers, and bed mobility using appropriate assistance and mobility equipment.

• Reinforce movement techniques while following medical precautions and monitoring treatment tolerance.

• Communicate changes in symptoms, performance, and participation to the supervising PT.

• Document treatment accurately and coordinate with nursing and rehabilitation staff on mobility recommendations.
