Stern-Therapy-Consultants is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support their rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting in Tonawanda, NY. This role involves providing physical therapy treatments, assisting with resident mobility, and documenting therapy sessions to enhance resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, and transfer techniques.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs designed to improve strength, safety, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident response during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the PT.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support quality resident outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
