Safire Rehab of Northtowns, Tonawanda, NY – $35/hour. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This flexible opportunity is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact on resident care.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, and transfer techniques.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs designed to improve strength, safety, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident response during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the PT.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support quality resident outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
