Job summary

Hayward Gardens Post Acute invites a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Hayward, CA. This full-time role works under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized plans, helping residents regain mobility and independence.

You will assist with exercises, transfers, and mobility activities, document progress, and educate residents and caregivers. Must hold a California PTA license and be committed to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• California PTA license or eligibility to practice in California.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance, and endurance.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning and functional mobility; document progress.
