Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant in Hayward, California. The PTA will collaborate with a supervising Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, balance, and independence, while enjoying a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient‑focused; ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduates and experienced PTAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on individual patient goals.
• Assist patients with mobility, gait, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress.
• Document treatments and patient progress accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, caregivers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.
