Job summary

San Francisco Post Acute seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in San Francisco, CA. You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.

The position is full-time with pay rate of $48–$52 per hour, medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k), and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• California PTA license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist residents with mobility, balance, and functional tasks.
• Document treatments and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with rehab team and educate residents.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.
