Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to implement plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist. The role supports patients of all ages and serves as a clinical resource for staff and students.

There is a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available for candidates moving 50+ miles. Compensation is offered with a comprehensive benefits package, and the team works within Carle Health’s central Illinois system.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Field of study: Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing as required by state laws.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers.
• Follows the therapist’s plan of care and documents communication in the daily note.
• Completes required documentation and compliance with policy (CTSCP67).
• Coordinates with PT and referring providers on patient progress and treatment recommendations.
