Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Scranton, PA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team on a per diem basis. You will provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, serving patients of varying ages and abilities.

The role supports flexible hours in a busy outpatient clinic setting. Eligible candidates hold an accredited PTA degree, state license, and CPR certification, with CAPTE exam completion preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the national PTA exam (CAPTE).

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state regulations.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients of all ages.
• Maintain professional interactions with centers, patients, and staff while adhering to NovaCare Rehabilitation policies.

Job description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Scranton, PA

Schedule: Per diem (PRN) Monday through Friday. Center hours 7am-6:30pm. 1 evening a week until 6:30 preferred. Closes at 3pm on Fridays.

Compensation: Hourly range is $32-$40/hr based on your experience.

Unique Location/Job Details: Per diem based out of our Scranton outpatient clinic but covering other locations in the SWB as needed. Indirect supervision preferred.
