Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows and Laurel Fork, VA. This PRN daytime role prioritizes patient outcomes through skilled PTA practice.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree in PTA, maintain an active PTA license in Virginia, and have some experience. You will implement treatment plans under a PT and educate patients on home exercise programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current PTA license in good standing.
• 1 year PTA experience preferred.
• Implements treatment plans under supervision of a PT.
• Documents patient progress and status changes to supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required


• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License


• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred


• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist


• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
  
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
