Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.

Responsibilities

• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes as required.
• Assist in maintaining department operations and workflow.
• Participate inPatient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.
• Maintain treatment area cleanliness and safety.
• Treat patients per physician treatment plan.
• Assist with staff training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team.
• Participate in in-services training for staff.
• Record treatment changes per policy.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in discharge readiness.
• Report equipment issues to keep department functional.
