Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support therapy services in Alabama. You will treat patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and document daily and weekly progress notes.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care software.
• Ability to read and interpret policy and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist and record daily treatment notes.
• Assist with maintaining the department and participate in conferences as needed.
• Instruct families and staff in maintenance and caregiver training for discharge.
• Report equipment problems and ensure department is kept in good working order.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health care team.
