Job summary

Carle Health is seeking aLicensed Physical Therapist Assistant to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a dynamic clinical setting in Illinois. The role includes educating patients and families, following the plan of care, and documenting progress in the patient record.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's Degree as a PTA and current Illinois PTA license, with BLS certification and continuing education requirements for stroke care compliance. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (IDFPR) in Illinois.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Complete required continuing education for acute stroke care.
• Must successfully complete board exam at next available date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students and other health care providers.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment with communication.
• Produces documentation per Clinical Documentation Policy (CTSCP67).
• Completes annual education for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement program where assigned.
