Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) in the Tampa Bay area is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient therapy team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help patients recover from orthopedic injuries and post-surgical procedures.

You will document visits, instruct exercise programs, and support gait training, mobility, and patient education. We value teamwork, compassionate care, and a focus on quality outcomes.

Competenze

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Providing individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Documenting each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
• Instructing patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Guiding patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
• Communicating patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Serving as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
• Supporting the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.
