FOI is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and rehabilitation under a licensed PT. You will treat orthopedic injuries and post-surgical patients, document progress, and guide patients through exercise programs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and opportunities to mentor PTA students within a busy orthopedic group across multiple Tampa Bay locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Providing individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Documenting each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
• Instructing patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Guiding patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
• Communicating patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Serving as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
• Supporting the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.
