Job summary

FOI is expanding across the Tampa Bay Area and seeks Physical Therapist Assistants to support outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work under a licensed PT to help patients recover from injuries and post-surgical conditions in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Documenting each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
• Instructing patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Guiding patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
• Communicating patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Serving as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
• Supporting the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.
