Job summary

Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO) is seeking energetic Physical Therapists to join our Staff therapy team. The Physical Therapist administers treatments based on evaluations to help restore function and relieve pain, either independently or with support staff.

We offer collaboration with physicians and a large network for clinical growth and CE opportunities. CAO emphasizes continuing education, with webinars, Medbridge CEU, in-person courses, and generous CE budgets.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Experience with computers and electronic medical records.
• Thorough CPT & ICD-10 coding knowledge and billing familiarity.
• Understanding Medicare and third‑party billing requirements.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and documents in medical records.
• Conducts comprehensive evaluations and plans appropriate care.
• Performs tests/measurements for function, strength, ROM, and more.
• Administers therapy treatments to reduce pain and improve function.
• Supervises PT assistants and therapy support staff as needed.
• Collaborates with other providers for coordinated care.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and CAO policies.
• May work evenings and occasional Saturdays as needed.

Education

Bachelor/Doctoral PT degree (accredited)

State PT licensure

CPR for Healthcare Providers

EMR/computer proficiency

CPT & ICD-10 knowledge

Medicare/third-party billing knowledge

English literacy (read/write)
