Job summary

The Palace Group's Palace Nursing Home & Rehab Center in Miami is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to assist licensed therapists and support patient rehabilitation programs. Qualifications

Currently licensed in Florida with at least one year of experience under a licensed physical therapist.
One year of clinical experience preferred.
Must have an Associate degree in Physical Therapy or PTA program (accredited).
Good verbal and written communication in English; Spanish preferred.
Able to operate the necessary equipment.
Supervision and management skills.
Ability to calculate percentages for required documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out the selected program and procedures.
Perform routine treatment procedures in accordance with the planned program.
Record keeping procedures and charting, ensuring confidentiality of all records.
Communicate with patient's physician and other healthcare professionals.
