Job summary

The Palace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering patient-focused therapy services. You will help residents improve strength, mobility, and confidence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assisting with evaluations, delivering planned treatments, supervising rehab technicians, and maintaining compliant documentation in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Valid state Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist.
• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for all assigned patients in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Actively integrate PT services into facility and interdisciplinary treatment plans.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and meetings as directed.
