Job summary

The Palace Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT, delivering care that supports residents' strength, mobility, and independence.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, supervise rehab technicians, and contribute to case management, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations, while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Valid state Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment per plan of care.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, care conferences, and administrative meetings as directed by the PT.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
