Qualifications

• Florida State License & current Florida Registration Certificate.
• Two years of experience preferred, with at least one in geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatment sessions as directed by PT.
• Documents and maintains service-related records per department requirements.
• Assists PT in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Implements and modifies treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Monitors resident response to treatment and reports observations.
• Maintains daily statistics in Net Health.
• Provides in-service education to nursing staff and family members as needed.
• Communicates with other therapists and departments regarding discharge plans and changes.
• Attends department and interdisciplinary meetings as scheduled.
• Complies with HIPAA guidelines.
