Job summary

The Palms at Venice in Venice, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, resident-centered therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to PT supervision requirements.
• Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with mobility training, gait training, and balance activities.
• Monitor resident progress and report changes in condition to the supervising PT.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow established care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
