Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings at regular intervals to determine need for intervention.
• Assist in evaluations under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Develop target lists with short- and long-term goals and treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group treatment focusing on strength, mobility, balance, and ROM.
