Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Charleston, SC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist, contributing to interdisciplinary patient care and progress toward goals. You will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, document responses, and collaborate with the care team.

Education required: Associate Degree; Experience: 0–1 years; Licenses: current PTA licensure; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• The PTA provides therapeutic interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Implements treatment plans including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintains up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
